Carnevale Italiano is a day to celebrate ‘All things Italian’ with some of the region’s wonderful Italians.
It is the New Italy Museum Complex’ major fundraiser for the year.
Officially starting at 10 with Mass the day’s activities include:-
- A circus performance by Spaghetti Circus,
- Entertainment by ‘The Golden Voice of Italy – Tony Pantano’, Fortunato Isgro, and for the first time, Simone Nicole an accomplished opera and musical performer.
- There will be lots of raffles, Italian wine and delicious Italian food by Americo Melchior. Whip cracking, accordion playing and fun activities for the children. You can take a pavilion tour with Leonie, check out the genealogy section with Lester or learn the history of New Italy and it’s wonderful descendants from John.
We have addressed the food queues problem from last year and have changed the venue around to accommodate everybody.
Come and enjoy a unique part of our history in a family-friendly and fun way.
We are also looking for volunteers on the day, please call Peter Blackwood (NIMI Secretary) on 0414 673 933 if you can help us.
